I will be working on a short comic for Quarterstone Comics in the coming month! I'm really excited about getting to draw for the Aeroine title, because, well, rockin' ladies in comics are always a good thing!

FAQClubsStalkeesSo, one of my recent images was deleted due to "policy violation."
Because, heaven forbid I take care to deliberately redesign young characters into my interpretation of what they will look like as adults. And shame on me for marrying them off. To each other! How dare I depict a loving relationship between two grown FICTIONAL characters? What message will I send to the children?
Of course, this is all pretty hilarious coming from a site that has an ENTIRE GALLERY devoted to EROTIC FETISH PHOTOGRAPHY.
That's right. PORN.
Softcore, sure. BUT STILL PORN.
Scroll through the new submissions and see how long it takes to come across a snapshot of cooter. See if it takes more than 3 pages. I'll wait.
*sigh*
I don't mean to sound so angry, it's just that I've spent my entire time in fandom, and online in general, going out of my way to be nice to everyone and appreciate their contributions... only to get this out of it?
I'm not leaving, don't worry. I don't do wank and I don't try to create drama. I'm just really peeved right now and I can't hide it!
I don't know what to do about DevART in the future, especially because DA is such a battlegrounds for shipping wars in the Avatar fandom. I'm trying to keep myself away from all of that because I just want to enjoy this excellent show. Not fight about shipping for goodness sake! Ship what you want! No one cares! So long as you're happy, why does it matter what anyone else likes?
Anyway, if you want to see what I've been drawing more recently, just friend me on LiveJournal. Some of my art gets locked, but I always friend back.
I'm sure I'll be back to posting more of the same just as soon as I'm not feeling so insulted. *shrug* I just need to blow off some steam, because the whole thing is so ridiculous.
In the meantime, catch me on LJ. I'm more active and chattier there, anyway.

FAQClubsStalkeesI'm baaaAAaack! I know I've been MIA for a year now, and I hope to fix that. Real life has kept me from drawing anything of consequence for a very long time for a number of reasons that you don't really care about, I'm sure. ;D
I'll be updating whenever I can but I can't promise many finished (or even half-way finished) submissions, so don't get your hopes up. Haha! Free time comes at a price... and I'm flat broke in that area.
A big thank you and huge hugs to everyone who sent me good wishes for my wedding. We're still doing great!
I have also found another series to devote my love to. Avatar: the Last Airbender is one of the greatest things to ever play on my TV. I can't believe I just said that about a show from Nickelodeon, but there you go. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out! AvatarChapters.org
